In 2014, a company in the name of DnD foods was started in Coimbatore by Chocolate maker and Professional Chocolate taster Arun Viswanathan. S. K, a food technologist who specialises in food product innovation. Having done his under graduation in food Biotechnology he did his dual degree masters in food science and technology from Cornell and food processing and management from TNAU. Later he was an intern under the renowned chocolatier Dominique Persoone of the Chocolate line fame in Brugge, Belgium. Ganache for da Chocoholics was launched as a first brand which offers an amazing variety of Chocolatiers signature creations. Driven by the zeal to design exquisite Chocolates that satisfies Indian palatte. Now ganache serves as a chocolate gifting solutions for personal and corporate orders. Four years later in March 2018, DnD foods opened its first cafe outlet and named it as Infusions – Chocolate Redefined, a cafe with fusion food concept that caters fusion food, Cacao infused food, Desserts, Pastries and 25 variants of hot Chocolates. In May 2018 the company started crafting it’s own Bean to Bar Chocolates. In Tie up with Cocoatown,USA, Pioneer in Bean to Bar Chocolate industry and leading provider of machines to make small batch craft Chocolates, DnD foods launched its brand Chitra’m, craft Chocolates which holds Signature Bean to Bars and Bean to Bon-Bon luxury collection made with finest quality Indian Cacao and natural sugars.
